    Recently, drawing on its solid R&D innovation capacity and profound technical expertise, GenChem & GenPharm has been selected for the second batch of 2025 Foreign‑Funded R&D Centers eligible for tax exemption and refund policies. This list was jointly released by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Finance, Nanjing Customs, and Jiangsu Provincial Tax Service of the State Taxation Administration. The honor represents authoritative provincial‑level recognition of the company’s achievements in building scientific research platforms.

    In 2010, the company set up its foreign‑funded R&D Center: the Polypeptide and Derivatives API Engineering Technology Research Center, devoted to R&D of polypeptide‑based active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), their derivatives and pharmaceutical intermediates.

That same year, this R&D center obtained accreditation as the Changzhou Engineering Technology Research Center for Polypeptide APIs and was recognized as a Jiangsu Foreign‑Funded R&D Institution.

    In 2014, the company jointly established the Jiangsu Engineering Technology Research Center for Polypeptide‑based Pharmaceutical APIs and Derivatives in partnership with Nanjing Normal University and Changzhou University.

    In 2020, its Polypeptide and Derivatives Pharmaceutical Engineering Research Center was accredited as a Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Research Center.
